So, it has been a while!

So, I have not kept my word in that I was going to try and make this a routine to keep all of my beloved friends updated on my side of the world! Well, I have some time, although, I should be sewing a few things right now, but I would rather sit my big ass on the recliner,ice my plantar facaitis, blog, and watch a movie while it is 12 degrees, zero with the windshield outside! My Lovie is sleeping and hubby watching ufc and Jett at grandma's. But, I am tired, I can barely keep my eyes open, so I will get started!
Jett is hopefully getting over his terrible 3's and heading into fabulous 4! He is a smart butt and is just smart in general. His preschool teacher said that he could actually skip a grade, I was seriously considering it when a whole week he came home, screaming at the top of his lungs constantly. I asked him why he thought that he can scream all the time and he said that another kid in his class does it. Well, I went into his class for a Halloween party and yes, the kid is off the wall, but Jett helps him all the time and he is Jett's friend! LOL So, I have to explain that it is not acceptable and that I don't want to hear it again, ya, how stern I am!! LOL I am blessed that Jett is a pretty bright kid. He is able to make sentences in spanish and know what spanish speakers are talking about, grandpa is teaching him how to play the guitar, and then just the general everyday things that he excells in. I just can't believe he will be 4.
Lovie is a hoot! She finally started walking at 13 months and then teeth. She teethed like no other starting around 4 months and after a long while got her 2 bottom teeth. Since then, she has only protruded her "I" teeth, yes her vampire teeth! I have never seen a kid grow this set of teeth first and we all call her "vampira." She is little miss thang that loves her brother but will try to bite him or hit him if he pisses her off! She loves to listen to music and sing, at times she hums to put herself to sleep. She likes to eat, play wheels on the bus, play peek a boo, itsy bitsy spider. She is a busy body with vampire teeth!
Me, well I am really enjoying my job, these catholic kids I think are onrier than public school kids but smarter than s**t! I really enjoy praying 12x a day and going to church twice sometimes 3 times a week. We did just get word that the school is on a budget freeze and they will not get rid of any teachers next year so I am grateful to have a job. I don't mind driving 2 hrs a day, the kids are taken great care of my parents.
Donnie and I well, let's say, it takes a lot of growing up, courage, and mercy.

Summer 2010

Well friends, I have been away for quite some time but with good intentions. I have finally completed my Masters and am very proud of myself! Lovie is going to be 9 months and is a hoot! She is starting to lose her cheeks, but they are still good size! About a week ago, she finally pushed out her first tooth. Thank goodness, we went threw several months of slobber! My Jett is not fully potty trained and heading to pre-school in Pittsburg with momma. I got released from my teaching position due to budget cuts again in Louisburg and now will be at a private catholic school that is 45 min east of where I live. I think that I will be there for more than two years. I will be head softball coach and will be coaching jr. vball. and teaching spanish. I am very excited. I went to college at pitt and loved it there!

Lovie is sensitive to the good smelling J&J lotions. She is following in her brother's footsteps. Lovie and The Jett are laying in my hospital bed watching T&J!

You can tell the allergy reaction to the lotion. Her whole body is blotchy red! poor girl! Look at those cheeks!

Sorry this was as soon as I could get pictures out. I could not keep anything down due to the spinal tap. This c section, I was not shaking like crazy and I felt a little more pressure and the doctors pushing and pulling my innards everywhere. I did get nauseated, my mouth was full of saliva and the anethesiologist ended up giving me a small dose of sleeping cocktail to get me through the rest of the surgery. It helped! I took morphine this time and was itching like crazy, especially around my mouth like i was a drug addict! Lovie fially ate at 2:30am. I got to watch 3 episodes of Three's Company, awesome! i finally ate some crackers at 4:30am. I was starving. This mornings breakfast was great! The shower felt amazing! i feel pretty good!

My cooch hurts terribly and I am having those braxton hicks contractions. I have to complain, because I never felt these with Jett. I am terribly uncomfortable when I sleep, walk, and sit!!

Luckily, I have this terrible pain with the second and last child!

I am trucking along spending Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in Olathe and Wednesday and Friday in KC. Wednesdays I also go to Pittsburg for class! Jett has been doing great going back and forth between Donnie and I. I believe he actually knows what is going to happen when we bring home his sister. He looks at babies when we are out and about and he says "awww like my sister!" He also prays for her at night which is toooo cute.
I am 34 weeks measuring 34 weeks. I just gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks with a total of 14lbs thus far. Jett came at 37 weeks so, I am thinking she will too!!
I found out last week that the short term disability for my new district is not covering my pregnancy, since it is a pre existing condition,,,I think that it is a crock of S$@^! I am bumbed a bit because when you think you are caught up in money, you fall right back and can not see to get out!!! I will not be able to be with the baby as long as I would have liked! I tried to pay for extra on my old STD but the company would not allow it! Needless to say, I have tried everything and nothing is going the way I would like!!

I can not wait to meet this burrito, she is head down and poking me every minute!!! She sticks her butt up and you can literally see it, it hurts too!!

My new school has pretty good kids, I have not had a bad or stressed out day with them yet, knock on wood, I wonder if I will remember their name when I get back from leave???? LOL

OK, so it has been awhile!! I am pregnant, did not know if I ever put that on here. I am 31 weeks, and supposedly having a girl. Thanks to Aurora, I have some clothes to start off with. I also, have this awesome blanket that she gave me, I really think she should be Mexican.

Anywho, I had 2 online classes this summer towards my masters. The first class in June was easy, although, I had to hand in a portfolio, that was tons of writing. I also had watched my nieces and one of my friends girls during the day. Needless to say, it only lasted through June. I can not handle being pregnant and summer together!!
July, I had a hard ass time consuming class. This professor meant it when he wrote it is like you are in 3hrs of class and then at least 3hrs a day of work!! He was right. I have never made an 80 slide power point before in my life!! I hope I will never have to again!!

I feel like this is my only free week before I start school. I start Aug. 10 this Monday, and I am kinda excited. I am once again a head coach and teaching spanish. A little rusty at both, but am ready!! I will be living part time at my sister's in Olathe, which is 30 min. from my job and part time in Chanute. I will do my maternity leave in Chanute. We will share Jett everyother weekend or every two weeks!!

As for the baby, I have a sonogram tomorrow, going to make sure she is still a she. I have a scheduled csection on Oct 8th, regular due date is the 15th. I think she will come early, this little girl can hit, kick and punch. Jett was due on Feb. 15th and he came Jan. 25th. Great possiblity!! I am at 2 weeks to the doc!

I will try to do my best to keep up on my blog for you guys. I have been reading you alls, just not posting on mine!!

Peanuts

Thanks for all the replies. I am glad that I did not have to do the scratching of skin and or taking blood! I would suggest trying this type of alternative medicine first.
Needless to say, I was not sure if Jett was allergic to peanuts because I have just stayed away from them and peanut butter.
We were at a birthday dance, you know us Mexicans, we still party when we are 85! Anyways, I had peanuts on my plate and before I knew it, Jett grabbed one. He had eaten it before I could get it out of his mouth. He started coughing a little, I thought he was getting a little choked up and then he got some red dots around his mouth, and then his eyes were itchy(I could not tell if it was from all of the icing that had transfered from his fingers to his hair). Prior to this, Jett was a dancing maniac. Well, he would not let go of me, so when he told me his tummy hurt, i immediately went home. We got home and I gave him a shot of Benedril and about 5 minutes later he puked.
So, off to Joplin we go again!! I probably will not go till school is out, that is 4 more weeks!! My friend just took her son today, he is 4, and he is allergic to lots of things. Mainly milk, cheese and nuts. Anyways, they had Monica take some air from her house. They told her to vaccum and leave a jar open and then close it and bring it in. Gabe was not allergic to any house particles, but definitley all the other things. He told her that usually if they are allergic to milk, they are allergic to peanuts!! I wish he would have told me that! Watch Austin, Ryann!

I feel real bad that I have just abandoned my blogger friends!! Since the last post 2 months ago, a lot has gone on.

The one thing that I would like to blog, is my spring break. Well, I did nothing except for working on projects for my masters, playing with Jett, and softball practice.

Jett had been allergic to milk(dairy products), eggs, and chocolate. The last weekend in February, I was in Salina watching my cousin at State wrestling. I had mentioned to my cousin that I had scheduled an appointment at Children's Mercy to get Jett tested for allergies. One lady budded into our conversation, which was fine, and said that her friend went to this allergy doctor that is a chiropractor and he made some adjustments and she had been fine. So, I ask her if she could give me her number so that I can call this DR and see what this is all about! By that Monday, I had his number. His name is Gary Parker. His practice is in Joplin, MO. I had talked to his secretary, that was not so bright on insurance, was able to tell me the procedure. We get there and there were a couple people ahead of us. My sister and niece went with me, because my sister said it sounds too good to be true. Well, the people that were there in the waiting room were there for adjustments, not allergies, so we could not ask them questions.

We get in. Dr. Parker has hundreds of viles of allergens and he makes sure what Jett is allergic to and then gets those viles. He has me sit on the table and has me hold the vile in my left hand while I am holding out my right hand. Dr. Parker then tries to push my right arm to the floor and he can't. He does this with every vile and I resist. Next he sets Jett on my lap and has Jett hold the viles and has me still put out my right arm. If I resist, Jett is not allergic, if I don't he is allergic. Low and behold, I could not resist the pushing what so ever!!! While Jett was still holding the vile, Dr. Parker took this 25mm vibrating gun and did 3 adjustments to his back. He did this with all three viles.

Under 5 minutes Dr. Parker said that Jett had two problems in the adrenal gland and one in the kidney. It totally made since to me because, you know the tags on Jett's ear, well when he was an infant we had to go get his kidneys scanned twice to make sure nothing was wrong with them. When the ears grow the kidgneys do to, so it totally made sense. My sister was sold then! Dr. Parker said to not feed him those things for 24 hrs. and then after that he can eat away. Christina got in at 2:30 that day. When we got there, the waiting room was full. Yes, allergy people!! So, we talked and one lady had two sheets of things that she was allergic to, just from being tested prior to finding this witch doctor. She was from St. Joe, MO and she said that her friends had no more than 3 allergies and they are doing great now. Dr. only does several at a time, so she has to keep coming back until she is finished. Another man sitting beside us was from California and had read about him in an article and thought he would bring his family to Branson while he came here to try this Dr. He was refusing to get put on shots again. Another lady was from Corpus Christie, TX. Her sister had heard about him through a friend and said she wanted to try it. By this time, Christina is pumped up.

Christina had 3 major things that she was allergic to, one being ragweed. Which is really bad around our area but not til fall. Another big one, was dust mites. Dr. had her lay down and placed the viles on her tummy. Like for trees, she knew that she was allergic to trees, but did not know which ones and Dr. just put the whole draw of different trees on her tummy and eliminated the tree viles. So, she got adjusted and she said right away she could feel a difference when she walked out.

My sister actually slept through the night and was not sniffling at all. She got up the next morning and one of her nostrile was clear and the other a little stuffed, but towards the day, she was great!! The next day, she felt awesome and still does to this day.

Jett, is a cake eating, egg eating fool!! He has not broke out what so ever!! Jett actually had a whole slice of cheese pizza at Chucky Cheeses. I had tried to stay away from that place because of Jett's allergy problem and now, we can go as much as we want!!

My niece and nephew also got adjusted later that week and they are not miserable!!

I give my props to this guy!! He is an old fella and is getting ready to retire soon. I am going in the summer to get me fixed, I believe I am allergic to dust mites and mold. Possibly some smoke.

Dr. says that right away, mother's bring in their newborns and gets them adjusted, I am considering it with my next kid.

Poisen ivy is the only allergen that you have to go every year to get adjusted. He does not have a website, just an email. He does take insurance. There is a first anitial visit fee and then $15 an allergen adjustment. My bill was only $125 for Jett.

I don't have any pics of the adjustments or any of actual photos of Jett eating cheese or cake, but it is for reals!!

Well, I must say that I had a wasted Christmas vacation. In my district you could either pick Monday Dec. 22nd or Friday Jan. 2nd to come in for 3 hrs. Well, I was going to come in on that Monday but at 7:30-9:30am I was stuck on the toilet!! Ya, those 2 hrs totally drained me!! I went back to bed and then at 10:30am, woke to vomit!!! So, I did not go into work and stayed home pukeing and shi!!ing all day!! I finally felt better around 8pm but did not eat. I did eat just a little the next day and did not throw up. My stomache was still messed up toilet wise. Wednesday, I was still sluggish and then Christmas Eve night, I am started feeling light headed. Christmas morning, we woke to open presents and then we went to my bro's house and my head killed me!! I got light headed and weak. We went home, I turned on Shrek for Jett and I believe I passed out and he was awake on his second time watching Shrek. I was dehydrated with a sinus infection, I finally figured it out and got some gatorade and musinex. Saturday I was feeling much better, but I feel that I had a waste of my vacation!! All we did was watch tons of movies and caught up on my shows.

Well, not much has changed in the world of the Chanutians!! We were supposed to head down to Dallas for Thanksgiving to spend it with my TX family, but that did not happen. Jett decided to get a sinus infection and my was so stuffy with mocos coming out that I felt bad leaving him. So, we stayed. I did feel like I had a peacefull extended weekend. We caught up on some movies and of course, raved the BF deals. We got our garage door openers that we wanted for our Christmas gifts, and let me tell you, we got them just in time, it has been colder than shit here!! Thanksgiving started at the Cosby family, with some good white food, drop noodles are my favorite!! Then, we head to the church for the Ponce family gathering and enjoyed the Cowboys game. That night, I got a little sniffle and hurried and popped some IBprofin and was ready to go for BFriday. Our main concern was getting over to Home Depot in Pittsburg(50min away) and get our garage openers. I had it all planned out, I was going to wake up and 5am and order the portable DVD player from walmart online, so that I did not have to go there and get trampled. Well, I get up and the Site was down!!! I yelled at Donnie, "get up, the site is down, we got to go to walmart." We take off, not sure if we had brushed our teeth! The parking lot, plus more were full, so I dropped off Donnie and he went and scurried through that damn mess and then I had found a close spot and parked. It took us 5min. to get the DVD player and 40min to check out!! CRAZY!!! So, Home Depot had opened up at 7 and we made it there a little after 7am. We got our things plus the keyless entry and headed to Joplin to Big Lots. We did not need anything that day at Big Lots but I had to get their add just in case and sure enough there was something that I needed, but was on sale Saturday morning! UGH We headed to Joplin because I wanted to get me a couple of clothes that were on sale that I wanted for cheap. I got one of the vests and if I had not passed them, I would have gotten two, but some other hooker snatched the other one! We got some other things in Joplin and we basically took our time. So, now I am pumped for Saturday Big Lots! The weekend before, I was at Sam's and saw this Black and Decker bench with tools, Jett saw it as well and totally threw a fit because the tools were stuck to the bench and he could not get them out. This set was $49. At, big lots they had it for $25, so, I load up in my Prius on Saturday and drive my happy ass to go get my great purchase. I get there with 15 min. to spare. There were cars already there but not a line of formating people, except for one little boy, he was there for the motorcycle santa. So, I get all my warm stuff on and head to the door. Then the line started to form! The little boy was on my side and he got my tool set for me along with an extra 34 more tools for $15. I am crazy, I know, but I love it!! Bargins that is!

Ever since I had seen the movie Howard the Duck, I had always wished that a cute little cuddley duck would come into my world! Well, I have him. I did Jett as best as I could to look like Howard the Duck. I think I did pretty good, I only spent $5. So, here is my precious little duck from outer space!

Jett just turned 21 months old and he is talking up a storm!! He is such a parrot now!! He is amazing, he says 3 to 4 word sentences and remembers everything that happens or everything that I say. He is such a joy!!! We were in church a couple of weeks ago and he was singing one of the hymns and up to 3 pues in front of us everyone turned to look at him! He loves music, all kinds, my very diverse kid!!
One other amazing thing he does, is that he can kick a nerf football, literally! We have been practing the uprights, he can't get it quite up that high but his approach to the ball and power is unbelievable!! He also can punt the ball! Being a physical education teacher, his motor skills are way above average, that makes me happy!!!

OK, so, I took the summer off! Seriously! I have not had a camera since March and pretty much my life had been hectic since then! So, who the hell wants to just read words, everyone wants pictures!! I am not the funny blogger, so I spared you all the complaining and missing I do!!

After 5 months of going through probate, we finally got our house!! We closed on June 18th and painted and moved all our stuff into the garage were, some stuff still is. So, it took us about a week to clean and paint.

My parents and I and Jett, were due to go to TX, head down to SA, up to Austin, and then Dallas after the 4th of July, but Mick broke her foot, running out the garage door to play cards! After the fall, my dad made my mom a ramp, because the step out of the garge door is somewhat high for her, so he made a ramp with a Laredo rail. Now, I have pictures on my phone, but I donot know how to get them off, so just imagine, a the back of a wooden chair as the rail for my mom to hold. I swear my dad thought she was 3 foot tall? Well, Jett loved it, so they kept it on, but this weekend when I got home, it was taken down! I was disappointed! Anyhoot, there went my vacation!! Instead, I had to take care of Mick for a whole 2weeks! Mick was OK, she could still complain!! Joe, would have rather came out of retirement to go back to work than to take care of stuborn Mick and her complaints!!

So, I finally just did not give anyone a heads up and I decided to make the trip, I gave Donnie a three day notice and Jett and I were jetting off on July 18th, I told Mick and Joe two days before and they were worried about me driving by myself with Jett to Dallas. So, they told me on Thursday night that they were going with!

We made good timing on Friday, being that I had a toddler and two geriatrics! We left at 5:30am, Mick and Joe passed out, and me and Jett wide awake, I thought they were supposed to be helping me with Jett??? Anyways, we stopped for breakfast in Tulsa and after that Jett passed out for an hour. We made it in 8 hrs, 2hrs for stopping and eating!

The whole time we were there, Jett and I were on the go seeing people, if we did not get to you, sorry, we will be down again, real soon!!

Jett loved the fast life, he was a trooper! We would take off around 10am ish and be gone all day till 10pmish and he loved going fast in the traffic!! I asked him if he wanted to move back, he smiled!! I got to see my beloved friends!! Had some great laughs, good drinks and great food!!

We stayed till the next friday and on our way home, Jett started throwing up! This is when I really needed Mick and Joe!! Oh man, he would not stop! On the way home, it took us 9 and a half hours and Jett puked 5 times!! Through the night, he threw up once! I forgot to mention that, while I was in Dallas, Donnie had contracted staph infection on an open cut on the bottom of his foot, so when I got home, I was not about to go into my staph infected house with out disinfecting it first! So we stayed at Mick and Joe's. So, on Saturday morning, while Jett slept, I went to the house to start cleaning, I had a headache, went back to mick and joe's and I started dry heaving, so now I had the crap! I only dry heaved, but had diarreah and by the end of the day, I was rid of it!! It was crazy!

So, now we are one week into our house again!! I still have tons of crap in the garage and just not enough time in the world to get it all sorted through and put up or thrown away. I just have this week before school starts!

This past weekend, my home grown amigos and I had a girls weekend in KC. We had a fabulous time! It was hot! I think we walked a marathon around the Plaza and the two resturants that we stopped at, their AC was OUT!! Mandy whom is 8months prego was like, I am sorry for being a bitch, but we have to go!! I was like, I ain't prego and I am very hot!!

Anyways, we had a great time!! I did purchase one of those 60minute video camera Flip Video things. I had taped some already and had did something wrong and erased the videos, so here is some of the house and a little of the Jett. Here are some pics of Dallas!

Summer Break

My summer break started on the 21st of May. I have been busy trying to start my masters, finally getting the house, and trying to catch up with friends in KS(seriously in my hometown) and TX, which all of my friends are busy now with their new babies, I don't get to chat with them on the phone. But at least I leave a message and read blogs, so I know how they are doing. I wish that I could go down to see my TX crew, I could really use the laughs, but of course, I have no money for travel right now. I can't complain, I have my Jett and he is hilarious! Did I mention that I am a part time worker for American Greeting Cards! Yup, just about 9hrs a week, it makes a payment though and it is easy work!!

If I had already gotten my stimulis check, I would have been in TX, but of course, I have not gotten crap! I did direct deposit, but it still was not in the account, so now, I hope that it comes by check, if not, I don't know what the heck?

Ok, so about 3 weeks ago, I gave Jett a little hair cut. Yes, Mick and I decided that the barber shop was open! Well, I cut some of Jett's hair, I thought I cut a bunch, but obviously I did not, so within those weeks, Jett's hair grew really long again!! He was at the point that he was itching his head so bad that he made his scalp bleed, ya, cheap mom I am!! When eating he would put his dirty hands and rub them through his hair.

So, I finally I broke down and took him to a professional, yes, Delphina. Let me tell you, I did not even come close to cutting as much hair as she did and Jett looks wonderful!!

At first, I sat in the chair with Jett, but for some reason he wanted daddy, so I rolled with it. Jett did a great job through out. I told Delphina to please don't mind the sticky parts in his hair and she was like no problem, until she tried combing through.....uhm, she was like DAMN! I don't think I need a little girl!
Delphina would talk to him and he would babble back at her while playing with my phone or daddy's. Delphina was impressed, but then she had to shave the side burns and back, the sound of the clippers scared him, but he got over it! OK, so I will dish out the money from here on out to go to a professional for Jett, he looks way better! At least I thought I did a better job than my sister cutting Bubba's hair, oh and my dad's!

I just taught Jett about dandilions, he got a kick out of blowing, but then they started getting closer and closer to the mouth.
Jett started to grab the flower and open his hand and let them go!!

Well, Jett is 15 months and he just continues to amaze the crap out of me!! He has been sickless for 2 months now, thank you for tubes in the ears!! Tubies have helped him tremendously. Jett can say a plethura of words, but they are not full words, but you can understand him. Let me tell you, he says both English and Spanish words. He had started saying words since December but now he really knows what he is talking about. Some of his words are, caca, ven paca, dientes, teeth, nose, eyes (he also points to them), cat, dog, mommy, da, go, blue, green, yellow, red (he mocks me when i say them, we are working on knowing the colors), ball, hay.

I have been really busy with softball and daddy and grandma and grandpa, have kept Jett going for me. I finally had time after practice yesterday to play with him outside. He loves being outside and he keeps himself busy.

By the way, these pictures were taken with a broken camera!! So, I was not seeing the pic on the screen and I think I did OK!!

Well, the last 3 weeks have been quite trying and ironic! Jett, Sara, and I attended our great friend Erica's funeral in Canada. I was nervous for quite a few reasons, so where do I start. OK, we will start at the time I found cheap tickets. Somewhat cheap!! Erica passed away on Sunday March 9th at 7pmish Canadian time. Real time 9pm. So, that night I thought it was quite ironic on how Jett had his eyes closed but yet, he was totally speaking and going through all the words he knows and just babbling new words. Donnie and I were just laughing and Donnie says, "What is he doing." I said, "he is talking to his angels." Sure enough, I believe Erica was there playing with him, keeping Jett up and us laughing! Because soon that night, I got the call at midnight that she had passed. Jett Eric is named after Erica and she never got to see him in person. We were planning on going to visit in June for about a month.
All day on Monday, I was trying to find a flight, but all flights were so expensive, I was getting down in the dumps, until I talked to a friend of mines dad that had frequent flyer miles. So, I had a little hope. He was on the phone with me late on Monday night to see if he could help me out, but could not. So, Tuesday, I got to school and I was adamant that I would find something. I told Erica, please find me something and low and behold a bereavement fair showed up on my screen. Ironic, so I called AA and due to spring break the only flight that had 2 seats was at 7:45am the next morning! I call Sara, she says in a deep exhausting voice, it is do able!! So, I go and ask for my bereavement and personal days and cut out of school early so that I could pack for two and get a notarized letter stating I can take Jett across, and an Id for Jett. Busy, I was. I had a softball mom meet me at our main office so that she can notarize the letter from Donnie and I. After that we were off to Nina Sara's house. We got there around 9:30pmish, i had to repack, give Jett a bath, and get food and clothes ready for the next day. Sara still had to work, and pack and it was midnight at this point. I put Jett to sleep and fell a sleep for a bit. Woke up at 1:30am and realized that I did not have Jett's birth certificate??? I paniced. So, I called Mick and Joe. Sure enough, it was on the table 2hrs away. So, I was looking all over the government website to figure out if a copy of the certificate would work. I could not get a straight answer. So, I am going to try it anyways! So, I phone Walmart in Chanute, because that is the only place I know of that is open in Ctown at that time and that has a fax machine. I tell the lady my situation and she gladely helps. So, there goes Mick and Joe!!
So, we are on our way with Sara having about a 30min. knap and me about 3hrs of sleep. So, off we go. Jett was amazing!! He flew really well. We flew from KC to Dallas and we had to change planes so off we go. I took a hand me down umbrella stroller from my sister, placed Jett in there and off Jett goes all CROOKED!! Sara and I were laughing because the wheels were all wabblie and Jett was heading all sorts of directions!! So, thanks Christina for that hand me down. We get to Seattle no prob. When we got there, I totally forgot to rent us a car, so here we go to Dollar! On the net they were cheap, like $183 for 5days, we get there three hundred something??? what the heck. At this time, Sara is getting the car, she is not used to renting cars and as she was talking with this Dollar African American low talker agent, I was on the phone with my principal about some kid in my class supposedly seperating his collar bone while in my class the day before, come to find out, the kid was in weightlifting, so not my kid??? Anyhoot, Sara got the car, as we are walking, I ask her how much and I about flipped. Sara says, that she upgraded us. The agent puts us in a PT Cruiser instead of the Dodge Caliber that we had. Caliber is good on gas, so, I instantly got pissed!! I called the office and cancelled, we called my bro and he booked us a car with Budget for around 200. Come to find out, Dollar had attached another expense that we were not aware of till Sara checked her account. So we spent 2 and a half hours at SeaTac booking a car. We finally take off in our Ford Focus.
Jett is still doing awesome, Sara and I both agree that if Jett was not with us, I would have lost everything with everyone at this point, but Jett made us sane!!
We make it to the ferrie in plenty of time. It took us a total of 2 hrs to get to our destination. So, when we got there, we got in line and went to the ferrie mall. Jett was wearing a baby blue outfit and yes, his hair is a tad bit curly but I don't think he looks like a girl. Well, he got called a girl! So, we are just chillin in the ferrie mall and I hear a message about our ferrie, we are not sure what it says. So we are taking our own sweet time and all of a sudden we see the cars starting in the lane and we run to our car, with Jett in the front, no seat belt, our car not on and the cars behind us, waiting to get on. We thought we would get road rage for not being on time.
We made it to Nina Erica's and Nino Dan's house about 10:30pm. Jett totally was passed out and would not wake for anything when we got there.
We stayed with Dan for a couple of days, just cleaning and doing things around the house for him. Ironically, it did feel that Erica was present at all times. A couple of times she had saved Jett from a few episodes. Apparently, Erica's cats have not been out much from their bedroom since her passing. Milo is a cat that will scratch and hiss if touched wrong. Mia, is a playfull cat. Well, one morning, I was in the kitchen and Jett was just running around chasing Mia and then it was quiet. So, I looked for Jett and there is Jett sitting with Milo and Mia. Jett was petting Milo, aggresivley. Milo, did not hiss or scratch him. So, of course I removed Jett. I think Erica was there calming to all. The second time, was when I had put Jett to bed and we were having a few beverages that night. I was periodically checking on Jett, because he was in a regular bed that was up against the wall. Well, I may have not have checked on him for about 45 min. I went to check on him and he was half way off the bed, like someone was holding his ankel not to fall! Thanks E!
The third time, there were tons of pics on Erica's refridge. I was holding Jett and we were walking pass the fridge and Jett points to Erica and says, "eica". I was amazed, I had pics of her here at home and always showed him her and she would call to talk to him and I would tell him, but for him to just come out and say her name was awesome!!
Jett was totally great throughtout the whole trip. All of my friends from Erica and Erica's family were so happy to finally meet him. Erica's nieces had a ball with Jett and of course, my son is a little casanova, he really like them too.
Now we get to the return home trip. The Monday after was supposed to be easy. We planned to catch the ferry at 3:30pm and drive to Seattle and stay with Grandpa Jack. Well, for some reason, I always come close to missing the ferry. Usually, Erica had to stop me somewhere for the last great taste of Sushi. This time, we were shopping at Zellars, we made it with minutes to spare!!
So, we got to Seattle in good enough time. Our flight left on Tuesday at 11am. We actually took our time, new umbrella stroller and all. We got to the airport at 9am. Low and behold, ALL FLIGHTS INTO DALLAS ARE CANCELLED!! We had to wait in line for 4hrs, to get rebooked!!! It was 1:30pm when we finally got a reroute. But this flight left at 3pm. OK, this sucks ass, we were going through customs and we got picked to get searched. They totally took out all of our stuff, searched all of us with that damn stick. Luckily, I had packed enough food for Jett, but Sara and I were starving. So by the time, we had to pack our clothes and everything back into our luggage, it was already boarding time!! We made it, Jett was awesome once again.
So, we make it finally to KC at 12:30am. By the time we got our luggage and got something to eat and drove home, we got to our final destination at 3am!!
I am on my third phone, when we changed planes in Denver coming back, i turned it on and it said service required. So, I took it to get it fixed, they gave me a new one and then the next day, the new one quite ringing, so I am on my third phone with 10 numbers, so I need your numbers!!
Now, we are back in Ctown and getting back into the groove. We started softball games after spring break and well the Varsity is 4-0 and the JV is 2-0. We have had a lot of rain outs, but we are first in our district. http://www.iolaregister.com has all the information and many pictures of our team. That is a plus about being in a small town!!

Well, i do not have any pictures but, Jett got tubes in his ears Monday morning. Yes, I was dreading the wake up hungry in the middle of the night Jett, hoping and praying that he would sleep through the night. First of all, the weather up here was supposed to be really bad and since we had to be in Pittsburg (which is only an hour away) we did not want to risk the chance of getting sleeted in and so Me, Jett and grandpa went and stayed in a motel. Jett had a blast in our little room. We tried to keeping him up and fill his little tummy with food and formula so that he would sleep through the night, but no!!! I think it is just my hungry little man? Around 4am ish he started moving around and of course wanting to eat. He sat up and in the sillouette he seen his bottle. I hurried and grabbed him so that his eyes would not be fixated on it. I woke up grandpa so that he could hold Jett. I snuck all the bottles to the bathroom, dumped them out and put them in the bag. Jett was wimpering like a little puppy. About 30-40min. later, he fell back to sleep. So did my dad, but this time, my dad was snoring...! Ug! So needless to say, I did not get much sleep from 4am-6am. We had to be at the office at 7am and Jett did great on the way there.
They gave him a little gown, which I have a picture on my phone and he was just flirting with the nurses. He is a little casanova!!! I took him in and had him on my lap while the anethsian was going over the procedure to put him to sleep and then within a minute, I laid Jett on the table, Jett cried a few breathes and was out. It was really freaky seeing him on the bed motionless, i do not ever wish to see that again! I hurried out so that they could get busy. I barely got my doctor paper scrubs off and the doctor was already out talking to me!! It took about 10minutes. Jett had lots of fluid and wax, he took that all out.
I got to go into the recovery room. Jett had his eyes closed and was crying, he slowly came out of the anesthsia and did not want anything to do with the nurses that he had previously been gag gaing over. He fully came through and was a happy little boy once again.
He is walking really really good now, and is totally a happier little feller.

OK, so I am a little behind. Jett has had a rough January. He has been battling nonstop head colds, fluid in the ear, and runny nose. On top of all that he had a touch of the stomache flu and the Thursday before his big party, strep throat! So, we had a little family party with the immediate family. Thanks to the Hernandi, they furnished cupcakes and ice cream. Jett on the other hand, still breaks out with dairy products, so he had angle food cake, he would not eat that, so we settled for a popsicle. My poor boy had really bad sores in his mouth. Here he is making the best of it!!

I have been wanting to blog about this for over a month and a half now. A friend of mine Reagan was hosting our Ladies Night out with BUNKO and we got to talking and I knew she lived in Plano for awhile, but what I did not know is that her husband, Nate went to school in Richardson. We got to talkin' and he said that he went to school I believe his Junior year there. He says, you want to look at my year book. At this time, I have a good buzz going because now a days, it takes me 3 beers to get drunk. So, I am looking through the year book and Nate really remembers quite a few teachers that are still there or have retired or are in the district as administrators. So, I start looking and all of a sudden the person below is staring at me!! I SPIT MY BEER OUT!! She was quite a looker!! Nate remembers her being really hot and sexy!!! No seriously, he did not even know her. So, I just wanted to say that even though Ro was in TX at the time of my findings, I still had the presents that she was with me. It felt like old times. So, thanks for the laughs that night Aurora. I did get a little tipsy!!

It has been a long time since I have been to a concert and not drink. Uhm, I can actually remember what song he came out to, were I parked and how much money I spent!!!

So, I got tickets they were in the nose bleeds. But my cuñado, Keating, bought six tickets, he was 8th in line and got really good seats. Donnie and I took 2. We were on Garth's backside, but he moved everywhere on that stage, so we got to see all of him. We were on the 9th row, I believe and it was a great view!

Garth had quite the intro. At first, the piano guy came up and everyone thought it was him, then the spot light went to the guitar player and everyone thought that it was him, no, then there is a whole in the G on the piano and someone was coming out through there, everyone thought it was Garth but no, it was Jimmy. Finally, Garth came up from the floor in front of the drums. It had me on my feet.

OK, OK,
So, I have been really busy for the last 3 weeks, trying to sell my house in TX, trying to sell Donnie's truck, trading in my truck, and amongst other things.

First thing is first, I really want my house to sell. Donnie and I want this house behind my parents. Even though it is behind my parents, we are still not living with them!! The old lady had kept it up real nice. Well, the old lady thought that she was going to get a lot of money from an auction she had about a month ago and she did not. So, she is wanting to sell her house quick, so that she can pay for her new abode at the old folks home. She is selling it buy herself which she wants to avoid realtors, which is what I want to do to. So, this lady is starting to get annoying because, she wants $2000 earnest money and I about crapped. I only had to pay $500 in Dallas. So, if my house does not sell by the end of this month, I guess I will say Hasta La Vista BABY!! I really don't want to be paying 2 mortgages. I don't think this lady wants a contingency contract on her house. I am getting ready to ask her. I will shit if she accepts it.

Second, I have turned GREEN!! When I went to Dallas a couple of weeks ago, I spent all day haggling and negotiating trade in prices, and the final cost of a Toyota Prius. Everything came out right and after 6 hrs. I left Toyota of Dallas with a 2006 Toyota Prius that had 16000 miles on it.
I was missing my truck a bit until, I had only payed $25 to get back from Dallas!!! So, I am not missing my truck. The gas is great! I love driving it and most of all, I love the lighting in the car. I have drove 160 miles this week and I have only lost one mark on my gas meter!!! A plus is that Donnie fits in it and he was driving it to Topeka and he could not believe how it told us throught out the trip how much gas we were using!!! I love this car, thanks Ashlie!!

Thirdly, I have been researching ebay, nada, and blue book to see how much to sell Donnie's truck. It is very time consuming and ready to sell it.

Lastly, Jett has been really clingy, he gets this way when he has a growth spirt. I love this age right now, he plays well by himself. Does not like watching TV, he only likes Family Fued. He loves being outside!!

I remembered another reason why I had moved to TX....on Saturday, it was only 47 degrees, yes, Jett and I were cuddled up on the couch all day, I am serious!! We even took a two hour knap!! My bones were aching! Sorry no pics, my finger was shivering too much!

Pros and Cons of being back home in Ctown

This post goes from my new job to living in the big city of Chanute.

Pros-

New Teacher Orientation-was only one day prior to all the teachers reporting, comparison to a whole week and a half

No lesson plans- the first day of teacher work day, our new principal said that we did not have to sign in before school or sign out and he did not want to see our lesson plans, unless need be! Comparison, to getting emailed all the time about me not signing in and having to have lesson plans due every week!

Block Scheduling- I have 90 minutes with my students. I swear they did not know what to do when I had them doing line drills, they were sore for at least 2weeks. I only teach 3 classes a day and a ninety minute planning period.

Duty- They pay us for duty and anything else that is after school or before.

Small classes- No more than 15 students in my class. My smallest is 7.

No traffic- It only takes me no more than 30 minutes to get to and fro. Sometimes I may have a farm tractor and a few semis in front of me. Farm tractors pee me off the most, they only go 30mph, scoot over to the side!!

Donnie gets paid more, great benefits- although we do not see it yet because we still have a mortgage payment.

Family- Although we don't see Donnie's family that much, they are hard workers and we work to! If we did not live with my parents, we probably would not see them much either.
I had a rough August with my Aunt passing and it was nice to be able to only be 2hrs away to go back and forth. I am glad to be here in case I am needed.

No daycare- Papo Joe and Mamo Mick take care of Jett. They have a hoot with him. Jett is always so happy to see me when I get home and him and Mamo are usually sitting outside waiting for me.

NO Coaching- My work day is supposed to end at 3:45ish, but if I have everything finished, I am out at 3:21 when the bell rings. So, I am home to make Oprah. I may coach softball in the spring, don't know yet, but will not be sad if I don't.

Friends- they live here but I seriously have not seen them, nor have they called me. I have 3 that call me consistently. Heck I had to go to fiesta to see everyone, I will probably catch them next fiesta too. Aurora, remember fiesta??

Community- I am able to get Jett in the stroller and go for a safe walk to Walmart mainly, and or the park. Jett loves being outside, sometimes that is the only way to quiet him down.

Cons-

My Pay- SUCKS ASS- I am in my 9th year teaching and the district I am in, only grants me 7yrs. They really push you to get your masters and once you do, that is where the big bucks start rolling in. They do pay for my insurance. Had I known this to begin with,,,,,,,,,,,,! I am barely going to be able to pay my bills.

Living with Parents- we are still shacked up with Mick and Joe. I am praying and hoping that our house will sell soon. That will relieve me from my sickness of not getting payed as much.

Driving in town- I am always on someones ASS to try to push them to go the speed limit. One of my friends told met

Friends- my good ole teaching palls whom I would see everyday! Especially now that they are all going to be mammas. I am happy for them, but sad to not to be able to see them everyday!!
But, they sure do make me laugh on their blogs!

So, it has taken me 3 months to post anything. My boy has grown so much and he is in his fun fussy stages.

He has two teeth. One showed up aroung August 4th and the other about 3 weeks after. He was a drooling monster. Fussy one too. This past week he has been a little under the weather and had me up most of the night. Of course, daddy doesn't hear anything. Jett is so crazy. He always makes a monster sound and has a huge smile. He does get fussy and usually it is because he is tired, sick, has a tummy ache, or just misses momma. He loves to sit outside and watch the cars go by and just loves seeing the sights which are not much in Chanute. He loves going for walks and being on the go all the time. He takes after his dad about the being on the go all the time.

On August 25th we had Jett Eric baptized. His Ninos are my dear friends Dan and Erica from Canada. They could not be here due to Erica having chemo, which she has lost 60lbs and is feeling good. So, Jett's other Ninos are my dear friend Sara Broyles, whom I have played ball with since high school and through college and my bro Mano. It was hilarious, Padre thought that Jett would be really fussy, but I said he has not cried once since we have been coming to church. And, Jett proved Padre wrong. Padre was so amazed of how good a boy he was!!

Jett had his 4month check up. He is doing well. The doctor still is concerned about his skin, which is really dry and has the starting of excema. He now weighs 15lbs. 7oz. and is 24 in. long. He has a big head 16 and 3/8s. We started on cereal and before for the last couple of weeks he had woken up 3 times throughout the night wanting to eat, ugh. With me trying to pack and Jett wanting to eat, I have not had any sleep, UNTIL, we started cereal. For the last 2 nights he has been sleeping from about 11ish to 5-6ish, YES!!! I feel a little refreshed. Also, I thought he was a little constipated, well he blew me away with a great big overflowing healthy one. I thought the cereal was supposed to make him a little constipated, thank goodness. He is a new man!

Goodbye Texas, Hello Kansas!!!
Well, I have never thought in my 8 years living here that I would ever say that!! Needless to say, I AM!!
It all began as a joke from one of Donnie's great friends and ended up for real. There of course were a lot of factors in this decision. First, the pay. Of course, I would be getting payed less, but Donnie more. So, we kinda make out a little less than here but we would not have to pay for day care. Jett was a huge factor. I do not feel comfortable leaving Jett with a sitter if he were sick and I had a ball game. We had thought that maybe we could stay here take Jett to daycare (which would have been a great mother of one of my old softball players) and me not coach. Me not coaching here would have not allowed us much spending money or saving. Thus, bringing us to being able to have a night to ourselves every once and awhile. We do not have family here, just Bubba and I am sure he would have taken great care of Jett like he would a case of beer. I do have great friends that I have known since I have moved here that I would totally trust with Jett, but they live 30minutes away. We would have to drive to them, just to see a movie. I have some teenage softball players that I would trust, but they can't drive yet. Thus, having family around would allow us to have a night to ourselves every once and a while and for me to possibly coach, if I wanted?????
I have tried and tried to come up with great excuses not to leave, but they all kept pointing north.
We will be staying with Mick and Joe for a while. Donnie starts in a week and I will go sometime in June, maybe end of May, depending on my house.

OK, so it has been since the beginning of March that I have posted. I do not know where to begin. Well, we had tons of company, OK, only 2 families that would equal 4. First the Keatings came with 2 extra of the Hernandi. Jett was totally spoiled, I don't think I got to hold him when they were here. We went to the mall, Walmart mall, and Walmart..LOL. I must say Jett slept awfly well with all the loud noise. One day the Keatings went to the zoo, I thought that I would be able to get some work done, but NO, he was wide awake and wanting momma. I think it was just too quiet for him to sleep. Jett loves his cousins and they love holding him and playing with him.
Then the Hernandi came. They all were not here at once, the Keatings left on a Tuesday and the Hernandi came in on that night. My brother Beat aka The Vagi, Kyle, Sarah, and Annalise, took care of Jett for a couple of days while Donnie and I worked. I must say, my house was clean, dishes and all??? It really helped us out. Vagi would watch my dog and then I would watch his at night so him and Donnie could go have some quality time.
I went back to work after spring break. My mom and dad came back to Dallas to watch Jett till the end of the school year. We are lucky to have them here. My first week back to school and softball was exhausting. Softball, we of course get out around 5:30-6ish, then have to sometimes stop at the store and by the time I get home, it is 7-7:30ish. By this time, I have to eat, feed Jett, sit and relax for a minute and then get ready to go to bed. It is rough! I have no time to cook or clean. My mom and dad have been doing it, real NICE!
Donnie finally got off on weekends and we have not had a full weekend together. I have had make up Saturday games and Easter weekend. So, hopefully this weekend I will not have a rescheduled game.
Well since the beginning of February, Chanute has lost a lot of great people. One dear to our family, could not fight any longer and passed away before the Easter weekend.
Thus, Easter weekend, we went back to C-town, Jett's first visit. He met most of the family and some friends, and some we did not get to see that we wanted to see.
Before we went to Ctown Jett had 5 shots the Thursday before. He did really well, he cried less than a minute but when he woke up to stretch his leg, he cried!!! No fever either!!
When we were in the doctor's office Jett had started to get a little cough. Over the Easter weekend, it had progressed to a worse cough. So, Monday we had to take him to the doctor's in Ctown. He tested positive to RSV and when we got back from Ctown we went to his pediatrician here and now Jett has to take an antibiotic and has to take tons of breathing treatments. I went round and round with the doctor and pharmisist. First the prescription was not at the right pharmicy and then one treatment, my insurance did not cover and it was $700. Yeah crazy, so I had to call the doctor again, mind you I get charged $17 for every page of the doctor.
By 9pm we finally had his prescription.
Jett is also balding. Yes, he looks like his daddy now...LOL I wonder what color his hair will come out to be next.

Well we have been really busy with paying bills, income taxes, house work, attending to Jett, and company.

Jett is getting bigger and bigger each day. He is now in 0-3 month clothes, but he can fit into some 3 month clothes. I had thought that we were getting into an eating routine but "boom" here comes a growth spurt so, he eats more often. He used to eat 20min and 20min but now he is confusing me!! Sometimes it is just 20, sleep an hour or sometimes 2 and a half, eats 20 and 20. Crazy! He is real gassy. It takes him awhile to burp, but if you lay him flat, he farts a ton.

Jett is pretty strong, he likes lifting his head to check out things and loves to look at my red walls!! So, here are a few pictures of the last couple of weeks!!

Well, Mick and Joe left for Laredo on Saturday and I must say I took it pretty well. Jett was great as usual during the day but for some reason he ate at 11pm, midnight, and 1am. He only ate for about 10minutes at 1 and passed out till 5:30am. I was pleased.
Donnie's dad came in this morning. I have to wait for him to be distracted so that I can take some pictures! He does not like his picture taken, but he will soon be blogged!!

The whole time Mick and Joe were here, Donnie and I were always refered to Christina and Mike!! Don't you think Christina has had her finger wrapped around our mother and father for a long time?

I must say that February 13th was my original due date for Jett to come into this world. In December, my doctor had said that she moved me up to Feb. 7th. Then, in January she said if Jett was still breech, he would probably come early. Well, Michelle "Sis" DeLaTorre Clounch made the call back in early December that I would have the baby on January 24th. Well, she was partially right. Broken water the 24th and baby the 25th!!! So, if I had money on the delivery date, Sis would have won!

Getting Bigger

Last Thursday we had a our 2 week doctor's appointment. They took blood for Hepititis and then gave a shot. Not exactly sure what the shot was for. The way that they take blood on babies is hard to bare. They prick the heal of the foot and they milk the blood out. Jett's has had this done 3 times and his blood does not flow. Donnie was there for the first two and he was pretty ticked off. Me, I didn't like it, but I figured that was the only way to do it. Jett screamed bloody murder. It is really hard to watch, because you can only hold their hand and talk to them so that by chance, they can hear and relate to your voice and that everything will be OK.
This last time, Donnie did not sit in the room with me, it was probably a good thing, he may have jacked the nurse!! So, he went to go pick up my breast pump!
After they took blood and gave him his shot, you just want to hold him so tight, and I did. He was so traumitized, that as soon as he felt me, he stopped crying!!
On the good note, Jett gained a little over a lb. so he is now 7lbs 7 ounces. Jett looks really healthy and no major concerns. Now we don't go back for another 2 months.
Although, we do have to go get a scan done on Jett's hips. Being a breech baby, the hips sometimes do not develop correctly, so Dr. McGonnell wants to be sure that he is perfectly fine, so we go in for that March 14th. Dr. McGonnell checks his hips all the time he says they feel fine, but never can be too sure.

Donnie's job at the hospital was to change diapers. He was a little liery about gagging when changing him, but it never happened.

Now he goes to work, does mine and mick and joe's aronds, holds me when he gets home from work, and stays up for my midnight feeding.

"The Great Challenge"

This past week and a half, I have been really busy being a MOM!! Wierd to say but, it is true!! The first couple of days were sleepless days and nights. Jett, I believe had a bit of a tummy ache 2 consecutive nights in a row. He cried and cried, it totally broke my heart. Patients I have when he cries, patients for what is making him cry, none! So, needless to say, I was very emotional the first few days home. Jett also had a bit of jaundice. So, we were up all night and had to be at the doctor's office early in the morning. You know, as a person, I can be organized perhaps in a cluttered type of way. Now, I have to be with a baby and his schedule. So, the night before, I had thought, well, he will eat at 6am and our appointment was at 9am so we would be fine, nope, did not work out that way. We ended up being 30minutes late. Thank goodness they were flexible!

Yes, Jett slept in bed with me on the two nights of horror, but I am proud to say, and I will knock on wood, has had 2 consecutive days of sleeping in his bassinett after feeding. He usually eats at 11:30pmish, 3amish, and again at 6amish. Our boy has been consistant the last 2 days.....yipppeeee!! At first, during the night I had thought that Jett had his days and nights mixed up, because that is all he wanted to do, is look at me and talk!! Too, cute, but at 3 in the morning!!! Now, he is up a bit more during the day and likes to hang out!!

Jett is definitley getting heavier. We have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, I can not wait to see how much he weighs.

He eats, pees, poops, and smiles constantly!!

Exciting Night

On Wednesday January 24th, I had been at the high school for Eagle Celebration to recruit for next year softball. I got home around 8ish and I was tired. I sat for a while in my recliner and then told Bubba that I was tired and going to bed. Donnie was at bowling and he shortly showed up after I went to bed. I usually get up every two hours to go potty and well, I did so at this time. I had thought that it was later like 2am but it was only 11pm. I jumped out of bed and Donnie says to me, "watch out, don't hurt yourself!" I felt like I had to go potty bad, well, I got to the bathroom and sure enough, the books are not lying. My water had broke. As I set on the toilet, yes letting myself drain, I told Donnie that "I think that it is time!" He said, "time for what?" TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!!! He busts in the bathroom and was suprised and said, "OK, what do I do?" He did great. He called my doctor, told them my water broke and that the baby was breech, so this meant emergency C-section. He got all the bags in the truck, I yelled at Bubba's bedroom door 3times,,,"BUBBA." After finally hearing me from the logs he was cutting, he jumped up and I said that, IT WAS TIME! As I was walking out, my dogs were just as worried and concerned as Donnie and Bubba. They watched me leave and off we went.

Donnie drove all the way with his hazzard lights on and pretty fast, we did not get pulled over!! Thank goodness. At Medical City of Dallas, everyone was waiting for me. They got me in, got me preped and I was ready to go by 1am. Dr. Marci, had 80s music playing for me. The room was not as cold as some surgery rooms that I have been in, but I was shivering like crazy. They supplied me with very warm out of the dryer blankets, those were nice, but I was still shaking. At this point, they forgot to get Donnie, I asked where he was and they ran to get him. He made it, he also got to see all my insides in a bowl. He stood behind me stroking my head. They had put on an oxygen mask and I felt a tad bit clostrophobic. Ever since my BOY has been in my womb, he has tripped my ashma a few times, making me feel real clostrophobic. So, when the doctor, which he looked like the Pratt Coach on Wildcats the movie (that was making me laugh too) put on the mask, I started to panic a bit and could not catch my breathe. It took forever to catch my breath. I got through it though. Dr. Marci said my insides were warm, but I was shaking so much, so she said she needed to watch me for infections. So, Jett came out and they held him over the curtain for me to see, which I really just saw his testicles!!! BIG!! and then Donnie took off to tend to our BOY.

Most of you have had the privledge of meeting my really great friend Erica from BC, Canada. As many of you know that a few years ago she was striken with stage 4 Breast Cancer. Meaning that the cancer had spread somewhere else in the body, which in her case, she had a little notch on her lung. The doctors have been watching every three months and well, this past doctors visit was not what anyone expected. She has a couple more notches on her lung. So, back to Chemo. She will have a mild chemo at first and hopefully that will be it. But, if that does not work, they will hit her hard. So, please say a prayer for her and family.

I had not laughed this hard in my life until Christmas Eve. Bubba got a present from my sister Christina. He opened it and well low and behold, he got some Royals onesies. Donnie told Bubba that he might be able to fit into them next year!!! Right about that time, Christina comes flying down the stairs, her hands full of presents. Almost like Santa coming down the chimney. All I here is a bunch of rumble, I look and Christina is splat right on the bottom of the steps. Sara seemed like the only concerned one, running over to the stairs to see if she was OK. Meanwhile, my worried mother was wanting the camera to video the fall!!!! I thought that I was going to have the kid then, I was laughing so hard!!

Here I am at the time of my baby shower in Chanute. I thought I was big then!! I am now measuring at 40 weeks when I am only going to be 36.

My back is killing me, my hands are knumb, and I can not eat that much. I believe I may have grown a couple of inches, I think he is stretching me out. I do know that if my feet have never been any flatter in my life, they are now. I have such wide ass feet, my toes are still thin, but my arch FAT!! Yes, and Donnie through out that I had CANKLES!! Whenever my King Kong is ready, I will be too!!!

By the way, I had a doctor's appointment on Friday, was in there early in the morning at 8:45am the second one and well the lady before me, went into labor, so I had to reschedule. Thus, I got away with her checking my cervix!!!! My next appointment is this Friday, every week now!!!

Chanute Baby Shower

At my baby shower in Chanute, my sister had us close our eyes and take off a diaper on a doll and put it back on. Here is my cousin Diana, she was a pro. As for me, it took me about 3 minutes, I guess the doll's leg was stuck behind her and I did not feel it? Motherhood, here I come!! YIKES. It was a great time, the food was fabulous and the company great. Thanks for a good time!!

BREECH BABY!!!

Well, I went to my sonogram doctor this past Friday and he was very amazed on how much hair the baby had. He said usually you can see the back of the head but the hair was very much present all over the head. He could not quit talking about how much hair the baby had on his ears, yes his ears!
Prior to the sonogram, Dr. Marcia had thought that the baby was head down, I for some reason had my doubts about that, I would think that I could feel him turn. Dr. Trimmer, had said that I can not blame Dr. Marcia for thinking his head was down, LOOK HOW BIG HIS HIPS ARE! So, our baby has some boodie, like his daddy.
This sonogram was a great turning point for me, now I can not wait to meet my little monster. The sonogram was so clear that you could see him just blinking his eyes and looking around and his hands playing with his toes. He gave a couple of smerks, but mainly just looking. He looked so happy, he does not look like an alien anymore! I guess that makes it even more real!!

Today, Tuesday, I had my doctors appointment and she really stressed that I watch my sugar. I admitted to her that it was really hard to take my blood 4 times a day and resisting all the goodies. I needed structure and now that I am at home, that will get completed!!!
Anyways, Dr. Marcia pushed on me and felt around and she was still stund that the baby was still breech. So, she wanted to see for herself and she gave me a quick sonogram. Prior to the sonogram, she was saying that if the baby does not turn by January 20th then, we will have to C-section him out. Which, I am not scared off. I was more worried about hatching him out and still am. Here is a madlib that my crazy friends came up with. They wrote the story and at our couples shower they had everyone yell out certain words to fill in the blanks to the story. So here it is...

Well, I went to the doctor today, once again, I was there from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. My doctor is great, she had 7 ladies in labor, she said this is the most she has ever had in labor at one time. Anyways, she moved my due date up to the 7th. I will hit 33 weeks on Thursday, but am measuring 36. We are going to have a big baby. She also said that she feels that the baby is head down! I got scared!!
She also said my sugar looked good. We are going to check one more week to see how my sugar and eating are going. Then, I maybe off the hook.
The 29th we get a sonogram and then back to my doc on the 2nd!!!

32 weeks

I am now at 32 weeks and I am getting bigger and back is hurting more, my sides hurt like crazy when I sleep, and I can't breathe! So, life can't be any better!!!
I cannot multitask, my mind is mush, I am not creative whatsoever. Needless to say, I have not got all of the wedding presents put away, thank you cards out, and baby things are starting to come in and are not put away???
I do have my Christmas tree up, and thanks to Bubba and Donnie my outside lights. They are the brightest on the block!! They make me happy!
