A Week and A Half

We have a week and a half left before we are hitched!! It is weird, but we are ready!!!

I would have not been able to put this wedding together if it was not from the help of our families and friends. I literally did not think it was going to be stressful but it has been but not to an extreme extent.

WE ARE SO BLESSED AND GRATEFULL TO HAVE THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY WE HAVE!!!

There are not enough words to express the way we feel...... Thank you!!

Pushing 200lbs.....YIKES

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. I was there for 2 and a half hours. My doctor is in high demand, needless to say this has not been the first time that I have had to wait that long. But, Dr. Marcia is great!! She is young, peppy, and very thorough.

She said that I was measuring 26 weeks and I am only 24. She said that the baby is probably going to be big. The baby is riding high by my chest. I can tell, for sometimes I am not able to catch my breathe.

Next visit, I get a sonogram to make sure everything is going well and do my diabetes test, which is pretty scary.

Bachlor Party

My family is throwing a bachlor party for Donnie in KS. He will probably be so inibriated that he will not remember anything, you know like he wasn't there!!!

Emotional

I am in no means getting cold feet, it is just the thought of me crying ALOT at my wedding. For one, my hormones allow me to cry at random times. I guess it is the pregnancy thing. For instance, I will be in the truck driving and all of a sudden, I am crying to a song. Or one day, there were cows on the side of the road, really close to me, and I remember thinking that was so cute and was crying!!!! What the heck?
So, on my wedding day, if I was not pregnant and getting married, I would probably shed a tear or two, but now that the deed has already been done, I am worried I will be an emotional crying mess. So, please, someone do something to make me laugh.

Once again, this thing about me being center of attention, is getting even scarier!

Virgin

This a great picture of my wardrobe. Brenda is the Virgin....LOL! I was very happy and relieved that my great friends took it easy on me. For some of them, that I have thrown bachlorette parties for, I was kinda worried!!! Anyways, it was all about Virgin that night. Me singing Like a Virgin, which I was working so hard to gasp for air and even drinking a Virgin Daquari.

I was very honored to have my mom's friends there, seeing older ladies get a kick out of the youngards, it was great.

I loved all the songs that were sung to me, like White Trash Wedding, I think that is what it is called, I don't know, I just remember danceing like Uncle Jed and playing the spoons!!

Thank you all for a great time!!!!

Wardrobe

Thank you to my great friend Mandy. She dressed me in my cowboy penis hat, that had a piece of pink boa and a vail. I also wore a penis necklace from Mandy and lit up penis pacifire provided by my friend Valerie, you could spot me a mile away. Mandy also bought me a shirt that really reminded me of Donnie and his mysterious VAN. It was an XL fitted shirt which I was totally popping out of, but wore it anyways.

Awesome Singers!

We all went to the Safari Grill, which was my very first time there, and I thought they had great food. I actually felt like I was in Dallas. Anyways, we had some great singers, then there was me, and then we had some singers that tried their best, well, they were awesome anyways.
As you know, I can't hold my pee that well, and I guess when I went to the bathroom my sister Christina and my cousin Cindy were going up onto the stage and I am not exactly sure how it went but there was a hand that was stepped on and Cindy fell onto the stage!!! That would have been hilarious to see. I was just lucky to hear them sing an Elvis song!!!

Pictured to the right are my sister Christina, Friends Kris Alonzo and Valerie Weitzel, and cousin-n-law Michelle. I believe they were singing "Summer Lovin."

"G" Rated Bachlorette Party?

I would have never had guessed that my mother would be interested in going to my Bachlorette party. Yes, you see a male body part on top of my head, yes there is one hanging from the side also.
All Mick kept asking me to do is to wiggle my head!!!

Bridal Shower "G" Rated Style

Well, I never ever would have thought that I would ever be having a bridal shower. My good friends, Nikki, Mandy, and Sara, and my family, Diana, Christina, and April through me the most fabulous party. The decorations were wonderful, the cake was beautiful, and the company was overwellming.
We got started by everyone introducing themselves and how they knew me and if they had any "G" rated stories (because there were kids there). Of course, Sara Broyles, whom I have known and played ball with since high school, I swear we could have went to the same high school we are so close, saying all sorts of good things about me and I START CRYING!! Needless to say, she did not have any "G" rated stories.
The guests ranged from my in-laws to be, which my mother in-law to be, had got off work at 2pm and came and did a facial at my house and went to my shower and went back to work at 10pm. I hope the woman she was taking care of is still kicking!!!
My great friends were there, Heather that just had a baby a month ago brightened up the room with her mother ora, Maya is so adorable. Stephanie Mallet/Nickelson, whom we have lost contact for a couple of years but mysteriously saw my cousins and brother at a ball tournament in Topeka, and we have been in contact ever since. To, my cousin Paula, whom, I totally forgot to send an invitation to, but was determined to crash my party, it made me so happy. To my AUNT Virg, whom once you were my aunt, you still ARE! To all the old timers, Connie, Hazel, Isabelle, and Grandma Florence, whom ain't even my grandma!!! To all of the wonderful kids that helped me with opening my presents.
I actually felt a tad bit shy. I have never really asked to be center of attention, it just always kind of happened that way. And here I was sitting in front of everyone, in a sober momment, people saying great things about me and people giving me gifts, I never would have thought. But, it was such a great momment, and I guess I realize now, how important it is to have a bridal party for the bride to be, every woman/man deserves one!!!
Thank you to everyone that attended and got to share one of the most top momments in my new beginning.

Needless to say, No "G" rated stories were said!!!

I am back, but not for long...

OK, so I thought that I would be able to keep up with this blog thing. Well, it ain't happening. I am overloaded with wedding stuff and am worn out by the time I get home. Most of the time I just want to eat and go to bed. Needless to say, my house has been totally neglected. I feel like I am in softball season already!!!

Good thing is that I totally feel the baby. He is very active, mainly throughout the day. Sometimes he kicks me so hard that I feel like I am going to see a foot when I go to the bathroom. It is totally a weird feeling. I still can't believe I have a little creature in me!!
I know he is over a pound, probably pushing 2lbs! YIKES

Thought that I would post a little something, I have to blog my bridal shower/bachlorette party!!! They were a blast by the way. But, know I have to go fold clothes!!!
